      Hi Kristin,

Aren’t they 🙂 I make them every time I have people over for a nice Mexican Dinner…. (and sometimes just for me LOL)

I am so super excited to make this tonight with the carne asada burrtio recipe. I moved to Ohio from Southern Cali a few years back and have been on the hunt for “real” good mexican food since my arrival….

      Hi Jessica,

I’m happy to hear you’ll be trying the recipes! I’ve heard from a lot of people that it’s hard to find “good” Mexican food outside of the southwest. I think you will enjoy these 2 recipes as they are very close to that SoCal flavor. Please let me know how they come out for you, I’d be interested to know what you think 🙂

      Happy Cooking!

Finally, I can stop looking for a salsa recipe. I have tried many and they have all been ok but this one is so simple but amazing. Our local Mexican restaurant closed and they had awesome salsa and this one is exactly the same. The only change I made was adding the diced tomatoes at the very end and just giving it a couple pulses to break it down a little bit. I like it a little chunky and this was perfect. Thank you for this post. I am also making the chicken tacos…. they are the best tacos I have ever had. Keep the great recipes coming.

      Hey Nate,

Thanks for all of your praise, it’s always great to hear! It’s a bummer that your Mexican restaurant closed down, or maybe it’s a good thing since you can now make that same great Mexican food at home… and save a few bucks 🙂

I also like your tweaks to the salsa recipe. I’m sure there are other people out there that like it chunky and your comment explains exactly how to do it, Great Job and Thanks!

And there are more recipes on the way so stay tuned.

      Thanks again,
      David
